What is omikuji ?

Omikuji which we can see in jinja nowadays is used for telling a person's fortune. There are various types of omikuji. While some give advice on daily life, some tell fortune by indicating such ad Da'i-kichi, Kichi, Chu-kichi, Sho-kichi, and Su'e-kichi.

How should I treat Omikuji?

Please tie to the specified fence.
It is often tied to a branch, but plese don't tie to other than the specified spot because that will actually damage the tree.
